WAVE 2 REMOTE STUDENTS LETTER TO PARENTS

Dear Parent or Guardian of REMOTE Student Only:

Beginning Monday, February 1, 2021, your child will continue online learning and instruction. There is no change in your child's learning experience.  Your child's schedule will remain the same and will continue learning online.  Days of Remote Learning will continue to be the same -Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. daily from home and not in-person at Sherwood school.

By now your child’s homeroom teacher has reached out to you with any additional information, such as your child’s daily schedule and other requirements and reminders.

If you have any questions or if your child needs support, please contact me or your child's teacher.  For general questions about remote learning that are not answered in this letter, you can visit the our website at Sherwood.cps.edu

If you decide to engage in in-person learning in April, please remember to complete the survey that will be emailed or text to you.  In-Person learning will be available to students again in April if you fill out the survey requesting that you return in person. Please let us know if there are any changes in your contact information as soon as possible to ensure you hear about that opportunity.

All students must be medically compliant to return into the building for in-person learning.  Please make sure your child has an updated physical and also is up to date with all of their immunizations.  Students cannot return in person without being medically compliant. Please visit your health care provider as soon as possible if  your child is in need of a physical or immunizations and email or fax us  your documents at abuzanis@cps.edu or fax us at 773-535-0872. Please call 773-535-0829  if you need assistance with medical compliance or we will contact you again next week. Have a great night and we will see your child online Monday at 9:00 a.m.

Sincerely,
